The Countdown!
So I've been counting down with my paper chain and though it seems to be getting smaller everyday, it doesn't seem to go fast enough! The more I look at it the longer it seems! So sometimes I wait a few days before I take off a link so that I can take off a few at the time and make it seem like the days are going by much faster! Is that weird? Lol. Also, I have found roomies! I'll be sharing my room with Margot and my apartment mates will be Kandice, Kaleigh, Megan, and Ashley! I can't wait to meet them all. All of us get along great so far and I can't wait to meet new people and hopefully my soon to be best friends. Right now, I'm supposed to be studying for my Biology Lab final that I have tomorrow but I can't get Disney off my brain. I wanted to make a quick update because it's been so long since my last post. I promise I'll post more the closer to check in time.

I got accepted!!
Okay, so this is my first time doing a blog in a very long time so it might take me a while to get back in the hang of things. Anywhoo, as my first post I want everyone to know this is completely for Disney purposes, this is where everyone can find me to find out about Disney and it's college program through my eyes!
I applied to DCP in May but did not make it past the web based interview :( so I reapplied in October passed the web based and got my phone interview two days later! A week after my phone interview I got an email telling me that I had been excepted, now I'll be honest, my first reaction was a scream and then I cried. Yes yes, how nerdy of me! But it was such a shock and an honor to be accepted, it actually was a dream come true. I had hoped for Attractions, Vacation Planner, or PhotoPass but my fourth choice was Merchandise and that's what I got! I can't wait to find out which park I have been placed in, I wish there was a way I could suggest an area where I'd like to work. I'd LOVE the France area of Epcot or maybe somewhere in Animal Kingdom. But really, any spot is great. It's DISNEY!
I still have so many questions that will take forever to be answered, especially since most of them I won't find the answers to until I get there on JANUARY 10TH! I applied for just the Spring program, so I'll arrive January 10 and depart May 13th. Being four hours from home will be a very large change for me. I've always been within thirty minutes of home and from my animals. ( I have two Dachshunds, a horse, and two cats.) I think that's what I'm most nervous about, is just leaving them behind and not having them around like I'm used to. But I'm sure since I'm only about four and a half hours from home I'll make time to go see them at least once a month.
I'm on the lookout for a roommate, someone who wants to live in a wellness apartment, doesn't party alot, and doesn't expect to have boys in our room all the time, the only reason I mention this is because I've dealt with that kind before, and my boyfriend doesn't like it ;) and it makes me very uncomfortable.
Well, I think that's all I have to update about right now. If I think of anything else I'll add to it.
